Did you know that only 30% of AI talent worldwide are women, and that barely 19%* of leadership positions in Data & AI are held by women?

Artificial intelligence is transforming the world, but can it truly do so without better inclusion of women?

To address the question of women underrepresentation in AI professions, the Women@Artefact collective and the creative agency Artefact 3000 have joined forces to unveil a powerful film titled “Afterwork”, an original creation blending social commitment with technological innovation.

The goal of this “Afterwork” movie, created using generative AI technologies, is clear: to highlight the lack of female representation in AI careers and inspire new vocations.

More than just a film, Afterwork represents a vision and a commitment: that of a tech industry where women rightfully belong. Artefact positions itself as a catalyst for the necessary change toward a fairer and more innovative world.

Women@artefact: Inclusivity in Action

A program to develop an inclusive corporate culture, help women to access data careers and increase the number of women in top management positions at Artefact.

RAISE AWARENESS

Making employees advocates for an inclusive culture.

We train managers to identify sexism and give them tools to protect their team members if a situation occurs.

We send a monthly newsletter to all Artefact employees to help them build their own opinion on gender equality topics.

INSPIRE

Helping women project themselves into data positions.

We organise quarterly conferences for Artefact employees with inspiring women from diverse backgrounds.

We actively take part in external events organised by the data community. In February 2022, Women@Artefact organised a Paris Data Ladies meet-up.

We give talks in schools and bootcamps to encourage women to take data jobs.

SUPPORT

Supporting women throughout their professional development.

For junior profiles, “Women@Artefact breakfasts” create special occasions to meet with Artefact top female talents and learn from their experience.

From the senior grade onwards, we offer coaching through theatrical improvisation. Topics include : “Managing a team towards success” or “Dare to make yourself visible”.
