Successful in the past, prepared for the future: The digital marketing agency metapeople, part of Artefact, was honored with the Awin Agency Award for the third time in a row at this year’s DMEXCO. At their own trade fair booth, metapeople shared information regarding current industry topics, such as the development of international markets and the transformation of agencies from pure service providers to consulting partners. Only those who successfully embody this transformation process will be able to assert themselves on the market in the future.
“The DMEXCO week was a great success,” says Julius Ewig, Managing Director of metapeople. In addition to many exciting discussions and newly established contacts, a particular highlight of the event was winning the Awin Agency Award, reports Ewig.
For the third time in a row metapeople secured the Affiliate Marketing Network award, this time in the Best Agency Performance category. The award is given to the agency, which has achieved the highest sales increase with its partner programs and receives a high score regarding quality and transparency. Julius Ewig and Valentina Piol, Head of Affiliate Marketing, accepted the award as part of DMEXCO. “This award speaks for the exceptional work of our team, of which we are quite pleased. At the same time, it is motivation to continue delivering outstanding performance in the future, “explained Ewig after the award ceremony.
Digital Day: Google study presented
It is more than the presence at the trade show and the receiving of the award that contribute to the successful occasion; the two metapeople events, Digital Day and Performance Night, which lead up to the trade fair were once again met with a great response. The high-quality program of the Digital Day included, among other things, the first presentation of the Google study “Automation in Digital Marketing – Business Model Transformation as an Opportunity for Agencies,” created with the help of metapeople.

During the trade show itself, the eye-catching two-story booth of the Marketing Engineers was buzzing with excitement – existing customers as well as potential new customers took the opportunity to exchange thoughts and ideas with the digital marketing experts. The Artefact Group international colleagues, such as Group CEO Guillaume de Roquemaurel or APAC CEO Pascal Duriez were especially in high-demand.
