Strategy development, technological implementation and practice-oriented consulting: Artefact Germany expands its Consultancy Unit and recruits Hannes Weissensteiner from the consulting company Deloitte Digital. The 36-year-old, who was lead for Data Driven Marketing at his previous employer and globally co-responsible for the cooperation with Google, will be heading the consulting business from May as Managing Partner at the new location in Hamburg. With a growing competence team in the Hanseatic city, Artefact intends to continue expanding its consulting expertise in practical data-based project implementation.
In the course of the rebranding to Artefact, the service portfolio of the listed company has recently been significantly expanded. The enlarged range of services is a reaction to the current market shifts: “Only those companies that can strategically develop measures together with advertisers, accompany their implementation and also support them in practice have a future,” explains Hannes Weissensteiner “For large consultancies, operational support is a major challenge, while small consultancies reach their limits in global projects. This is where a new market for hybrids is emerging.”
He sees a clear advantage for his new employer here: “Artefact combines the dynamism and innovative spirit of a start-up with the professionalism of a globally active company, with a clear focus on the core topics of data and AI. We help to initiate the change process, evaluate benefits and build knowledge with our customers to create clear competitive advantages”. It is important to develop concrete training plans and action plans together with the customers, so that new technologies can be used in a targeted way. So, customers are sustainably prepared for such fast-moving topics.
“Changing companies on the basis of data and creating value for the future”
“Advertising companies today have built up a great deal of basic knowledge of important marketing disciplines inhouse, and automation technologies also make handling easier“, explains Julius Ewig, CEO Artefact Germany & Switzerland. In view of the complexity of increasingly data-driven marketing, however, there is also a growing need for consulting services. “To do this, we need real top talents, whom we were able to recruit with Hannes and his team.”
By combining data and campaign expertise with strategic consulting, Artefact offers a unique complete package – a decision made at global level. „We are very enthusiastic by the launch of our data consulting department in Germany“, explains Vincent Luciani, co-founder of Artefact. „We were seduced by the quality of the team, the perfect fit between our existing digital marketing capabilities, and shared the same agenda on how data can transform a company and create value for the future.“
From August, the consulting unit of Artefact Germany moves into new office space in Hamburg’s top location. By the end of the year, not only around 30 consultants will be working here, but also facilities will be created that can be used jointly with clients to boost creative work.
