Account Director – Dubai

Artefact is looking for a top Account Director to join our UAE team, based in the heart of Dubai’s Internet City.

Goal: To provide key Paid media and wider Digital Account Management for a range of clients and support the growth of the company and the team.

Responsible for: Managing the UAE/MENA paid search and paid social team of Account Managers and Account Executives, as well as to strengthen the rapport with key UAE / MENA / International clients.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and take ownership of clients’ accounts to achieve and exceed client’s targets, working with Account Managers
  • Lead the Account Management team of Account Managers and Executives, setting priorities and assigning work packages.
  • Responsible for resourcing projects and allocating resources to specific tasks and clients in order to optimize results
  • Lead optimization activities on client’s accounts for maximum performance using all the best practices;
  • Overseeing smooth running of client’s campaign
  • Setting of budgets for Paid media campaigns in cooperation with clients, leading forecasting efforts  and controlling budgets on ongoing basis;
  • Manage day-to-day activity and workload, ensuring it is organized in an effective and efficient way;
  • Define and elaborate hi-level Paid media campaign strategy aligned with digital strategies of appointed clients;
  • Set hi-level strategy and account development plan, also cross-channel, to maximize long-term performance and growth of account overall;
  • Build and manage close working relationship with senior stakeholders at clients to ensure growth of the account. Work with partners to maximally serve the clients’ accounts.
  • Lead meetings, whether with clients or internal teams;
  • Provide appropriate communication, consultation and regular updates to clients and external agencies as and when required, in a language that is easily understood;
  • Perform project management of key client projects in paid media
  • Lead pre-sales meeting preparation for Paid Media accounts, including forecasting and modeling to identify client potential;.
  • Lead efforts to identify and implement new techniques that NB UAE/MENA should consider adopting.
